		Q. IS THE FLASHBACK LEGAL? A. The Flashback is DOT approved. the window tint is 20% dark tint (though the Flashback is not window tint, but a tinted resin compound in the plastic.) Sometimes the back of the pick-up truck is used for cargo, campers & fiberglass shells, etc, which block the rear view, further exempting the Flashback from restrictions. The Flashback is designed where your rearview mirror is clear. Also, the Flashback has a curved design that eliminates traffic relections at night and is transparent.
		Q. CAN I INSTALL THE FLASHBACK MYSELF? A. Yes, though Proessional Installation is recommentded. Depending on which application you have (Rubber Basket or Encapsulation that requires the cut out of the back glass) the Flashback fits both. The Flashback installation requires you to drill 12 holes in the pinch weld, which is both a safety feature & a theft deterant. Instructions and all the hardware needed, including the butyl tape, is supplied with each Flashback for easy installation. Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL? A. Installation should be about one hour. Q. WHAT ABOUT THEFT? A. The Flashback is made of poly-carbonate (an unbreakable plastic), not plexiglass. It will withstand a .38 special hollow-point bullet & sledge hammers. Also, the Flashback is bolted to the pinch weld and sealed with butyl tape. there are 12 carriage bolts that are drilled through the pinch weld and bolted to the pinch weld. the butyl tape has 20 psi that alone the Flashback cannot be removed. For more protection, a truck alarm is recommended. Q. WHAT SPEAKER SIZE IS USED? A. Any standard 10" woofer and optional 2" tweeter will fit the Flashback. More detailed info can be found on the Enclosure Specifications Q. HOW ARE SPEAKERS INSTALLED? A. Both spekers must be screwed in & sealed to prevent air leaks. In making them secure, this is for both, safety measures and obtaining the proper sound. Q. CAN NEONS BE USED? A. Yes, some colors are illegal while driving in certain states, other states require the vehicle to be stationary while lights are on. Please check local & state laws & regulations before finding out the hard way.

This enclosure is recommended for low amperage use. 50 to 100 watts recommeneded. Warning - This product may cause hearing loss- use common sense on volume operation. RESPECT OTHERS We want you LISTINEING for a lifetime Drivers are capable of producing sound levels that can permanently damage your hearing! Turning up a system to a level that has audible distortion is more damaging to your ears than listening to an undistorted system at the same volume level. The threshold of pain is always an indicator that the sound level is too loud and may permanently damage your hearing. Please us common sense when controlling the volume. We want you to get the most out of your equipment by playing it at a safe level. One that lets the sound come through loud and clear without annoying blaring or distorion, and most importantly, without affecting your sensitive hearing. Sound can be deceiving. Wver time your hearing "comfort level" adapts to higher volumes of sound, so what sounds "normal" can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing.Guard against this by setting your equipment at a safe level BEFORE your hearing adapts. To establish a safe level: Start your volume control at a low seting. Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfortably and clearly without distortion. Once you have established a comfortable level: Set dial and leave it there. Taking a minute to do this nw will help to prevent hearing loss or damage n the future.
